LUNCH Makers ….
You know who I’m talking about. The “lunchmaker” people on Instagram who make all these fancy, adorable little lunches for their kids. The ones that are color coded and have little stars made out of watermelon. It’s cute and I love that for those mamas.
Me on the other hand, not really my thing. I like to pack the lunches and move on with my morning as quickly as possible. We haven’t been in school for two years now, but I vividly remember those lunch packing days. This year now that my kids are back in school, I did my research up front and made a list of lunches that I can cycle through and my kids will love.
I’m not all healthy when it comes to lunches, but I do like to try and hit all the categories Protein (main meal), Fruit (whole fruit), Veggie (whole. veggie), Chip or Crackers, Granola Bar (snack) and occasional treat. Below you will see a list for Hot and Cold Lunches. Feel free to save this and come back to it because I will be updating throughout the year.
If you need some lunch box accessories, you can check out this post for my Amazon Lunch Box Must Haves. and Good luck, us lunch making parents need it!
